Maintenance Technician / Handyman

DARCARS Automotive Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Handyman with potential earning based on experience ranging from 60K to 65K.

Eastern Diversified Properties, Inc. ("EDP"), a subsidiary of the DARCARS Automotive Group, is looking for a Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our facilities team that services multiple automotive facilities in the Washington DC, Baltimore, Northern Virginia area. This person will be an integral part in supporting EDP's ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of employees and customers in our automotive dealership facilities.

A company owned vehicle is provided.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment (i.e. HVAC System and Air Compressor Filters).
• Performing basic plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Performing basic electrical repairs.
• Performing basic handyman functions.
• Being involved with, and documenting regular facilities inspections.
• Recommending maintenance initiatives to supervisors.
• Providing assistance to other team members.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years' experience with building maintenance or handyman experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to coordinate a variety of different projects and on-going assignments.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Flexible with work schedule.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record with the ability to operate a truck safely and efficiently.
