Appliance Repair Technician

We are currently looking for an experienced Appliance Repair Technician for a company that has been in business for 50+ years. This is a direct hire position with full benefits and a company vehicle after training is completed.

Position Summary:

The Appliance Service Technician will be a full-time team player who is technically oriented and able to ensure fast, flexible, and expert service to diagnose and repair customer/product issues while maintaining the reputation of the company and its brands. This will be a Monday-Friday position with rotating Saturdays.

Essential Functions:

• Provide in-home diagnosis and repair of various home appliances.
• Maintaining high-quality customer service.
• Advise customers on the proper operation of their products to extend the life of the appliances.
• Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
• Complete daily service tickets and other reports as required.
• Meeting key performance indicators and/or productivity goals.
• Maintain company provided vehicle.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of Appliance Repair experience preferred.
• Refrigeration License, Sealed System Certified preferred.
• Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of a computer, tools, and test equipment.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Clean background check and drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift/move products weighing 50+lbs.

A background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check will be performed on all Candidates. The pay range for this position is $30 to $35 an hour. Includes health, dental, and vision benefits, and a 401k plan. If you are interested in hearing more about this opportunity contact Luther at
