Responsibilities
- Model/component integration into large scale simulation;
- GUI, analysis tools, and various kinds of automation (build, test, etc.) development and maintenance;
- Design/architecture contribution, capability implementation, testing, and bug/issue resolution;
- Porting code between Windows and Linux;
- Significant interaction with other TSC radar system and modeling & simulation engineers;
- Travel up to 5% to Navy facilities around the Washington, DC area.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical degree with strong programming foundation;
- Skill in C/C++ or Java;
- Interest in Navy’s AEGIS Combat System and defense technology;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance;
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Skill in Qt and Microsoft Visual Studio;
- Experience in Windows and Linux environments.
In compliance with applicable pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is $83,000 – $108,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus and may include equity or incentive compensation as part of the total rewards package.
