As a cyber security professional at Lockheed Martin, you’ll protect the networks that our citizens and the world depend upon each minute: financial assets, healthcare information, critical infrastructure, hazardous materials, and the uninterrupted flow of energy that keeps modern life moving.
You will work with cybersecurity experts on the forefront of threat protection and proactive prevention, drawing on all your education and experience and the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep threats at bay.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
- Contribute to cutting edge development programs and design new solutions
- Innovate RF signal processing applications
- Develop analytics, visualization and discovery tools
- Integrate new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results; resolve software problem reports
- Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (four years’ experience may substitute for a degree)
- Seven (7) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Proficiency working in Linux development environments
- Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or Java Script
- Candidate must possess active security clearance with a polygraph
- Experience with Software‑Defined Radio (SDR) programming
- Experience with geospatial processing
- Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays
- Experience with Git Lab, Git Hub, or similar version control tools
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools
TS/SCI w/Poly SP
ScheduleOnsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,900 – $184,920. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
