Jobtailor is seeking a performance engineer to join our data team in the United States. You will work with a senior engineer to analyze and tune Spark/PySpark workloads and AWS Glue jobs, focusing on partitioning, file formats, and performance across our data lake and pipelines.
You will optimize queries across Athena, Trino, PostgreSQL and Redshift, troubleshoot production jobs, participate in load tests, and help Harden pipeline monitoring with Cloud Watch and dashboards.
