Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to join their team. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations team, supporting efficient material handling and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD
Pay Range: $18
Shift: First Shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday - Friday)
What's the Job?
- Operate a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and material movements.
- Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within designated processes.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality guidelines to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Work under general to limited supervision, demonstrating initiative and responsibility.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Zero (0) to one (1) year of warehouse or related experience preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.
- Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
- Basic math skills and general computer literacy.
