Senior Tax Accountant - Parker Mooers & Cena

You will be joining a collaborative and experienced team that values ownership, accountability, and the ability to make a meaningful impact with every client interaction.

• Operate as a highly independent Senior Tax Accountant in a fast‑paced environment.
• Manage client engagements and navigate complex tax matters.
• Serve as a trusted resource both externally to clients and internally to the team.
• Prepare and review complex business tax returns, including 1120s and 1065s.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, managing relationships and expectations.
• Provide proactive tax guidance and identify planning opportunities.
• Assist with compilations and reviews.
• Review work prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Handle tax notices, audits, and client inquiries.
• Support workflow management, especially during busy season.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• CPA strongly preferred; EA considered for exceptional candidates.
• Strong experience with business tax (1120s and 1065s required).
• Solid accounting knowledge and financial statement experience.
• Exposure to compilations/reviews preferred.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

• Base salary of $70,000‑$80,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact amount dependent on experience).
