In this role, you will provide specialized anesthesia services for complex cardiac procedures, including CABG, valve surgeries, TAVR, LAAC, maze, and atrial fibrillation ablations. You will work alongside a dedicated team in a modern hospital campus built in 2020, featuring cutting-edge labs and a supportive environment with experienced staff and an existing anesthesia team. Candidates must be TEEs certified or experienced, comfortable supervising supportive staff, and prepared to handle a varied schedule including call coverage, holidays, and weekend shifts.
Required Skills:
- Board-certified or eligible in Anesthesiology
- Valid medical license in Washington
- TEE certification or significant experience in transesophageal echocardiography
- Proven expertise in cardiac anesthesia procedures (CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, LAAC, maze, afib ablations)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to participate in call rotations, including nights and weekends
Skills:
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
- Advanced airway management skills
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Active Washington medical license
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency cardiac anesthesia experience
- Availability to start on 03/04/2026 for the assigned dates
- No requirement for transplants or general anesthesia coverage outside cardiac cases
- Willingness to travel and stay in local accommodations, such as Oxford Suites in Silverdale
- Must submit pre-application and complete full credentialing process within 90 days
