Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities:
In this role, you are responsible for supporting, mentoring, and motivating a manufacturing team of supervisors and ordnance mechanics to meet operational safety, quality, and productivity goals on tasks related to Post DD-250 special weapons operations. You will be one of two Associate Managers utilizing root-cause analysis and continuous improvement tools to develop solutions and implement systems to meet specific compliance standards in a complex, zero-defect, security-focused production environment.

The successful candidate for this position will be a self-managing, action-oriented individual focused on developing and supporting a high-performing team while delivering business results. Please note that this position does NOT support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Silverdale, WA, and will be expected to work in the office.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of related supervisory or 2+ years related managerial experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Experience with in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or Continuous Improvement (CI) events Demonstrated leadership skills or behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) standards Obtain and maintain eligibility for the Navy's Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) You will need to be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance to support this government contract.

No clearance is required to apply. An interim Secret clearance is required prior to start Pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
