Structural Engineer

ASR International Corporation is seeking a Structural Engineer to provide Design Technical Support services for NAVFAC Northwest. The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis, design reviews, and technical support for building and waterfront structures on Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design of vertical and lateral force-resisting systems, retaining structures, utility structures, and waterfront structures (piers, wharves, etc.).
Review designs, calculations, RFIs, submittals, and design changes for compliance with DoD UFC, IBC, ASCE 7, and project requirements.
Apply innovative technical principles to resolve structural design issues.
Coordinate with multi-discipline teams, government clients, and stakeholders.
Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and meeting documentation.
Support weekly and monthly status reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible to apply).
Must be able to pass a T1 security background check.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus from an accredited program.
Minimum of six (6) years of design management and/or design experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of structural design using concrete, steel, and masonry.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Experience with NAVFAC, waterfront structures, or DoD facilities projects.
