Description:

Radiation badge required – candidate must provide prior to starting assignment.
The facility does not supply or track radiation badges.
The role involves working in a busy multimodality lab.
Average cases per day range from 25 to 30.
Daily staffing consists of 14 techs and 7 RNs.
Weekend requirement is every third or less on call.
Call requirement averages 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.
Response time for call is an average of 30 minutes.
Holidays are on call only; otherwise, they are off.
Scrub color is provided by the facility.
IV team available as needed, but pre-op nurses and staff are proficient in ultrasound IV starts.
Pharmacy support is available 24/7.
Common cases include left and right heart caths, complex PCI, and electrophysiology.
Procedures include structural heart and interventional radiology.
The campus opened in December 2020 and features a welcoming team.
This is due to an expansion of services rather than staff resignations.
Floating will only occur in emergency situations.
Floor specific orientation lasts less than one week if competent.
