Position: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) - Silverdale, WA

Are you a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with a passion for helping patients regain their independence and function? Join our Physio Works team dedicated to supporting injured workers in their journey back to work. Here, you’ll be a part of a collaborative, patient-centered team focused on delivering exceptional care and achieving optimal outcomes.

As a CHT, you’ll provide specialized therapy, focusing on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation for individuals at both our clinics in Kent and Silverdale, WA. You will work with Occupational Therapists to develop customized recovery plans, applying your expertise to address patients’ unique needs and help them regain strength, mobility, and functionality.

Qualifications
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is required.
  • Active licensure to practice in Washington state.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong background in manual therapy, splinting, and ergonomics.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Experience with workers’ compensation cases is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized hand therapy treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and function for patients with upper extremity injuries.
  • Administer targeted therapies and techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, splinting, and ergonomic adjustments, to aid in patients’ recovery.
  • Monitor and document patients’ progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and exercises to support their rehabilitation journey.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and the broader clinical team to optimize patient care and recovery.
  • Stay current with the latest hand therapy techniques and practices, maintaining your certification and continuing education in the field.
Skills
