Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Inspector to schedule and conduct inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor.

This role ensures maintenance needs are identified early; safety standards are upheld, and all operations remain compliant with contractual, local, state, and federal regulations. The Maintenance Inspector will provide actionable recommendations, maintain accurate records, and support preventive maintenance programs to maximize efficiency and reliability.
** Typical duties include but are not limited to:
** Reviews facility or system history utilizing history reports, discuss any current relevant issues with the building officer, reviewing computer/network generated work documents for any outstanding work, and determine contractual requirements for the facility. Schedules and performs facility inspections in accordance with contractual requirements for that facility, and that government regulations are followed as necessary for the location of each facility or system inspected.

* Qualifications:

** Minimum 3 years' experience in Facility Maintenance or closely related field.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.

** Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.  May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
** Requirements:
** A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
