Missile Body Operations (MBO) Group is seeking a Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Assistant Building Group Lead (ABGL) at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) in Silverdale, Washington. The ABGL will assist the Building Group Lead for the Fleet Ballistic Missile program to support represented, non-exempt employees on the manufacturing and production line.
This position provides safety and security oversight operations conducted at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC). In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities:
• Direct support of the manufacturing process and production line in support of the hourly workforce.
• Workload analysis, prioritization, planning, assignment and execution; coordination of operational requirements with various organizations.
• Ensuring production quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Preparation of production reports.
• Provision of technical on-the-job training.
• Development and maintenance of SharePoint forms and documents
• Assist as needed with metrics management Please note that this position does NOT support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Silverdale, WA, and will be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, or BA degree program in progress
• 2+ years of professional experience in Planning and or Manufacturing,
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Working knowledge of the FBM program, D5 system, and SWFPAC operations
• Effective team building skills.
• Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
• Experience with management of classified documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate effective working relationships.
• Promotes change from an optimistic point of view.
• Proven Leadership abilities in dynamic work environments.
• Working knowledge of FBM tools/systems including: IMAP, AMOS, IMPS, and SAP.
