Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns while supporting deliveries and C-sections. Candidates must be comfortable functioning independently in LDRP care, attending deliveries, transitioning newborns, and assisting in surgical procedures.

RequirementsRequirements:
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• LDRP experience required
• Must be comfortable independently attending deliveries
• Experience circulating C-sections required
• Must be comfortable assisting with newborn transition and delivery support
• Experience titrating drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
• Ability to care for postpartum mother/baby patients required
• Must be comfortable managing high-risk OB patients including preeclampsia, diabetic, and behavioral health/social cases
• Must be adaptable to unit workflows, policies, and feedback
Additional Information:
• Travelers may float within Labor, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby areas within the department
• No floating outside the department
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Unit orientation and EPIC training provided
