Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) | Travel Contract
Location: Silverdale, WA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Type: Travel Contract
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts
Hours per Week: 36 Hours
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced obstetrical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong LDRP experience and be comfortable managing deliveries, newborn transitions, and cesarean section procedures.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn patients
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Attend deliveries independently when needed
Circulate during cesarean section procedures
Assist with newborn delivery support, including catching and transitioning babies
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care
Collaborate with physicians, pediatric teams, and interdisciplinary staff
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Required Certifications
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Qualifications
LDRP experience required
Must be comfortable attending deliveries independently
Must be comfortable circulating in C-sections
Must be comfortable assisting with catching and transitioning newborns
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
Candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered if they have multiple prior travel assignments
Strong fetal monitoring and critical thinking skills
Education
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
