Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high‑quality care that truly impacts our patients' well‑being and recovery. Every day you will provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and implementing patient care plans. You will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team focused on optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Adheres to the department’s and hospital’s policies and procedures, including safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
- Administers, oversees, and documents medication administration as ordered by the healthcare practitioner and in accordance with hospital policy.
- Assesses patients to include physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental, and spiritual needs; gathers data relevant for patient care; implements appropriate interventions; evaluates outcomes; plans care; prepares patients for discharge and coordinates post‑discharge needs.
- Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and competence; uses appropriate communication tools and understands how culture affects communication and care.
- Engages in professional growth and demonstrates self‑accountability in meeting mandatory deadlines.
- Documents care delivered and patient status using the nursing process in accordance with FHS standards of care, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of physician orders.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
- New graduate or RN without ED or Critical Care experience AND successful completion of the ED Residency Program.
- Registered Nurse license in WA, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (AHA) CPR, upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 12 months of hire.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 12 months of hire.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course within 12 months of hire.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing and one year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire.
- Previous ED experience current within the last 2 years.
- Critical care experience current within the last 2 years.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program, upon hire.
- Certified Emergency Nurse, upon hire.
$47.88 - $91.88 per hour
