- Position: Registered Nurse – ICU
- Location: Silverdale
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 3×12
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $2200 to $2400
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, neurological status, respiratory function, and hemodynamic stability
- Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
- Operate and monitor advanced life support equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and CRRT equipment as needed
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond rapidly to emergencies and code situations
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge planning when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Follow infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while advocating for patients and their families
- Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of ventilator management, critical care protocols, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
- Experience caring for high-acuity medical and surgical ICU patients
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication, assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced critical care environment
