Quality Assurance Specialist; Upward Mobility Program

Duties

You will perform various developmental assignments for the Quality Assurance Department divisions at Trident Refit Facility (TRF) Quality Assurance by assisting senior Quality Assurance Specialists (QAS).

You will support senior quality assurance specialists while executing reviews, surveillances, and audits to evaluate technical and administrative operations conformance to procedural, technical, and quality assurance requirements.

You will collect data from surveillances, audits, deficiency reports, and examinations.

You will review material certification, inspection, and test results of production, inspection personnel, or contractors to ensure technical adequacy and compliance with technical requirements.

You will aid with the development and maintenance of procedures or training for quality assurance programs.

You will obtain information from databases, technical requirement documents, and other systems. Maintaining and retrieving historical records.

You will attend formal and informal training courses.

You will receive on the-job training by observing senior quality assurance staff in performance of quality management duties or performing work under observation.
