Crane Systems Technician – Tessera.
Location:
Silverdale, Washington (Bangor). Type:
Non-Exempt.
Work Schedule:
Full-time. Compensation: $44.40 hourly + benefits. HMG is proud to offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to our eligible part-time and full-time employees.
- Performs routine tasks such as lubrication, parts replacement, and inspections.
- Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in crane systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Assembles and installs new cranes, hoists, and related equipment.
- Identifies and resolves complex problems with crane systems.
- Ensures all work is performed safely and in accordance with regulations.
- Maintains detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
- Uses portable handheld electronic devices for documenting work, timekeeping, and ordering materials.
- Communicates findings and work progress to customers.
- May be subject to call-back availability based on operational needs.
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- 3–5 years of experience in crane operating.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Meticulous record‑keeping and adherence to safety procedures.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and perform repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
- A valid state driver’s license (must obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance).
- Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ‑compliant driver’s license, U.S. passport, or military https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)..
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access (background check and E‑Verify will be conducted).
- Compliance with the REAL for access to federal installations.
