We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Roofer. The Roofer performs the roofing duties necessary to maintain industrial building roofs and install new roofing systems of various types and materials. The Roofer operates equipment such as tar kettles, roof sweepers, cutting machines, torch equipment, measuring and testing tools, power tools, and hand tools. The Roofer plans and estimates tasks, selects materials from blueprints and drawings, and lays out job phasing.

• Remove snow, water, or debris from roofs before applying roofing materials.
• Inspect problem roofs to determine the best repair procedures.
• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs.
• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans to identify required materials and dimensions.
• Ensure all roof repairs meet manufacturer specifications and approved materials.
• Communicate directly with customers and supervisors, informing customers of unexpected or additional repairs and following up to ensure work is completed and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure completed work meets quality control, safety procedures/policies, and OSHA standards/regulations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of roofing experience.
• Preferred/Must obtain Carlisle Applicator Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must be familiar with products and applications for different types of roofing materials.
• Must be able to work at heights.

• Lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Reaching, kneeling, walking, standing, and using repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
• Standing or sitting for several hours, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and going up and down stairs may be required.
• Must work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

• A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
• Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ‑compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military .
• Must obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access; a background check and E‑Verify will be conducted.
