Compensation: $38.00-$38.00/hr

- Responsible for a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, siding repairs/replacement, glass replacement in doors and windows, minor plumbing, masonry, concrete repairs, and minor electrical work.
- Clean roof drains and gutters.
- Responsible for replacing electrical receptacles and switches, fixtures, and bathroom exhaust fan motors.
- Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls or ceilings.
- Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
- Caulking plumbing kitchen fixtures
- Communicate and interact directly with the customer and supervisors, informing the customer of unexpected or additional repairs and determining customer needs.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Ensure completed work meets quality control standards.
- Use portable handheld electronic devices to manage work.
- Make difficult diagnoses and suggest solutions and repairs to customers and supervisors.
- Communicate with the scheduler to update the status of repairs and estimate completion dates.
- High school Diploma/GED is required.
- Minimum 3 years of closely related experience.
- Knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work preferred.
- Ability to learn a wide variety of building and ground maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods of time, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
