Compensation: $35.57 - $35.57/hr

Operate heavy vehicles, including tractor/trailer combinations, for personnel and cargo transport.

• Deliver cargo and vehicles, including HAZMAT and oversized loads, ensuring proper load security.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections, preventive maintenance, and fueling of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and clear communication with customers.
• Support motor pool operations, including medium truck and bus driving as needed.
• Uphold safety, compliance, and professional appearance at all times.
• Provide safe, timely, and courteous service while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

• High school Diploma/GED required.
• CDL Class A required, with HAZMAT, Tanker, and passenger endorsement.
• TWIC preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Valid U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s Identification Card.
• Current or able to obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Card) before hire.

• Lift or move up to 70 pounds.
• Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
• Climb in and out of a vehicle, use stairs, and work under pressure for extended periods.

• Valid state driver’s license required; must obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
• Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ‑compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative (e.g., U.S. passport or military ).
• Must obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
• Background check and E‑Verify will be conducted.
