Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tractor Trailer Driver to safely and efficiently operate combination vehicles with a gross weight of 26,001 pounds or more and a towing capacity exceeding 10,000 pounds s role includes operating tractors with flatbed, lowboy, dry van, refrigerated, and heavy haul trailers to transport personnel and products both on public highways and within the military base. The Driver is expected to provide safe, timely, and courteous service while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

• Operate heavy vehicles, including tractor/trailer combinations, for personnel and cargo transport.
• Deliver cargo and vehicles, including HAZMAT and oversized loads, ensuring proper load security.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections, preventive maintenance, and fueling of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and clear communication with customers.
• Support motor pool operations, including medium truck and bus driving as needed.
• Uphold safety, compliance, and professional appearance at all times.

• High school Diploma/GED required.
• CDL Class A required, with HAZMAT, Tanker, and passenger endorsement.
• TWIC preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Valid U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s Identification Card required.
• Current Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT Card) required before hire.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and perform repetitive motion for several hours.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, climb in and out of a vehicle, and navigate stairs.
• Perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods.

• Valid state driver’s license with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
• REAL ‑compliant driver’s license or an acceptable alternative (e.g., U.S. passport or military ) required for access to a federal military installation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E‑Verify will be conducted.
