Part-Time Accounting Assistant
Account Specialist with experience in AR/AP support, cash applications, reconciliations, payment processing, and financial reporting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Part-Time Accounting Assistant Details:
- Temporary position
- $ 24.00 to $ 26.00 / hour
- Part Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 12:00pm)
- Process AR/AP transactions, cash applications, bank reconciliations, and weekly ACH payment batches in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Enter and posted AR, bank, and GL transactions while supporting Sage day-end processing and subledger balancing.
- Maintain AR aging reports, investigated payment discrepancies, and resolved short payments and outstanding balances
- Support month-end close activities, intercompany accounting, payroll journal uploads, and financial reporting requests
- Assist with vendor setup, account monitoring, and communication of payment activity with internal teams.
Part-Time Accounting Assistant
Qualifications:
- High School/GED or a minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong AP/AR and GL exposure required
- Sage or Mysis experience strongly preferred
- Equivalent ERP/accounting software experience will also be considered
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Excel skills required, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas and reporting functions.
