Step into a pivotal role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school setting near Silverton, OR. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity runs from September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027, providing a rewarding chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and collaborate closely with a dedicated team of educators. Multiple positions are available, serving either behavior-focused elementary classrooms or high-volume learning resource classrooms.

Your expertise will be essential in one of the following critical areas:
  • Elementary Behavior Classrooms:
    Ideal candidates have significant experience addressing behaviors such as physical aggression or elopement in elementary students, delivering structured support and individualized interventions.
  • High Volume LRC:
    Candidates should bring strong skills and prior experience managing learning resource classrooms with a high student count (average of 43), effectively balancing instructional delivery and case management.
Key qualifications and requirements:
  • Active Special Education (SPED) certification or license in the state of Oregon
  • Documented experience relevant to either elementary behavior or high-volume learning resource settings
  • Commitment to onsite work-remote or hybrid is not an option
  • Ability to start upon contract date and fulfill the full school year term
