Pioneer Truckweld, located in Silverton, is a leader in custom dump body manufacturing and truck upfitting. As a growing company, Pioneer Truckweld offers a collaborative and hands-on work environment where employees are directly involved in building high-quality, custom truck equipment. The Engineering & Production Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring projects move smoothly from order intake through manufacturing, supporting both engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities
  • Review and process incoming purchase orders (POs) to initiate new projects
  • Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for manufacturing jobs
  • Utilize Solid Works to create and modify designs based on customer requirements
  • Develop detailed drawings and engineering documentation for production use
  • Write and issue work orders for internally manufactured parts
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely ordering of materials and components
  • Assist with production scheduling and workflow organization to meet project deadlines
  • Work closely with fabrication and production teams to support manufacturing operations
  • Maintain accurate job records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for engineering and production processes
Qualifications
  • 2 years experience in manufacturing management
  • Experience using Solid Works preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, truck equipment, or heavy industry preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of production scheduling and purchasing coordination is a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing management systems is a plus Compensation

    $25/hour and up, depending on experience and education. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
