Seasonal Cook - Silverton Christmas Market

We're hiring Seasonal Cooks to join the Silverton Christmas Market! This festive event runs from November 20 - December 31 and features more than 2 million lights, vendors, food, attractions, and holiday fun.

As a Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking hot food items from our food trucks while following recipes, food safety standards, and established procedures. This position is ideal for candidates who are comfortable working in a fast-paced cooking environment and maintaining quality and consistency during busy service periods.

• Prepare and cook hot food items according to established recipes and procedures
• Work as part of a team to keep busy food operations running smoothly
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized cooking and work areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment
• Help ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner
• Help create a fun and memorable holiday experience for our guests

• Friendly, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced cooking environment
• Previous cooking or food service experience is helpful, but not required
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures
• Able to safely operate common kitchen and cooking equipment
• Able to work in cold, rainy, and changing winter weather
• Available to work evening shifts, typically around 4:30-9:15 PM. Shift times may vary based on event needs.
• Must have a valid Oregon Food Handler Card
