Responsibilities:

• Oversee all store operations during shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Enforce company policies and procedures 100% of the time and set an example for the crew.
• Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, food management, serve to schedule, maintain store appearance and standards, provide excellent customer service, ensure attendance and punctuality, manage transportation to/from work, keep store clean, handle marketing, and maintain profitability.

General Job Duties for All Store Team Members:

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Training: Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication

Skills:

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Ability to interact respectfully and effectively with people across cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races.

Essential Functions /

Skills:

• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements at speed.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigate maps and locate addresses within designated delivery area.
• Navigate adverse terrain while carrying product.

Physical & Work Conditions:

• Exposure to varying weather conditions when removing trash, delivering product, or performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters.
• Contact with hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
• Potential contact with sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Must meet physical requirements including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, hand tasks, and use of machines, tools, equipment.
