Preventive Maintenance Technician
Do you enjoy fixing problems before they become emergencies? Are you the type of person who takes pride in keeping equipment and buildings operating at their best?
We're looking for a Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Oregon Garden Resort. This position focuses primarily on preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and property improvement projects, while also supporting the day-to-day maintenance operation through scheduled maintenance shifts, responding to guest requests, and facility repairs.

What You'll Do- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance throughout the resort.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems.
- Complete repair and improvement projects to maintain and enhance the property.
- Work scheduled maintenance shifts, responding to guest requests, and facility repairs.
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain maintenance records.
- Assist with equipment installations and facility upgrades.
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards while following all safety procedures.
- Communicate with team members using handheld radios and Google Chat.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous maintenance experience in hospitality, commercial buildings, apartments, or a similar environment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency call‑ins as needed.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Full-time position
- Tuesday–Saturday work week
