Your role will be crucial in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our ongoing expansion. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Oversee essential banking functions, including daily cash reporting and various payment initiation processes.
- Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and prepare and record journal entries.
- Analyze and reconcile key balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Allocate monthly company credit card activity to the appropriate GL expense accounts.
- Provide vital support to the AP and AR teams, showcasing your versatility.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, and support external audits as needed.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and responsibly.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with all organizational levels.
- Knowledge and understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in senior accounting roles.
