Job Responsibilities:
- Create necessary data and reports to support the preparation of financial statement such as accounts payable aging reports, accruals and expense analysis.
- Schedule and prepare payments to vendors, including checks, ACH, electronic transfers or other payment methods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with payment terms.
- Manage vendor statement to reconcile any discrepancies between the vendor's records and the company accounts payable ledger, resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
- Receive and review invoices from vendors, to verify the accuracy of information such as purchase orders, quantities, prices, discounts.
- Calculate, prepare, and file sales tax returns in accordance with state and local regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- 3+ years' experience in Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and accounting software's (Net Suite) preferred
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
