Job Summary
Tax Resolution company looking for CTEC/EA who is highly motivated, organized and detailed oriented. Position is full time and year round, no crazy tax season hours here.
Job Features- Compensation: Based on Experience, with up to $5000 sign on bonus.
- Part or Full Time: Full Time
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours work week).
- Seasonal or Year Round: Year Round Employment
CTEC, EA certificate or licensed. Must be current.
Minimum 1-2 years of Tax Preparation.
Experienced with 1040, 1120, 1065, 2290, 940 and 941 tax returns.
Experienced with reading and understanding IRS wages & income transcripts.
Knowledgeable with IRS & State Audits and Audit Reconsiderations, CP2000.
Experience with Tax Wise software is a plus, we will train if not.
Good with deadlines and work well under pressure.
A positive attitude and desire to excel.
Bookkeeping experience a plus.
Job Duties- Prepare federal and multi-state individuals and corporate tax returns.
- Bookkeeping if necessary.
- Contact clients and revenue agencies to obtain necessary information to complete returns.
- Send returns to client with instructions for filing.
- Submit returns to revenue agencies.
- Review and submit unreported income CP2000 responses.
- Review and prepare exam/audit responses.
- Manage and prioritize a full workload and deadlines.
- Interact with other departments within the company to help effectively prepare clients’ returns.
