Tax professionals wanted for tech support

CFS Tax Software, Inc is looking for tax professionals to assist our customers over the phone with tax-related questions pertaining to our software. Typically this involves helping the customer navigate the program or communicating about basic tax concepts. A typical day’s work might involve helping 5-30 callers. When calls are not busy, you may be asked to evaluate and test our software.

The position is ideal for tax pros either looking for full‑time work or supplemental income during their offseason.

For nearly 30 years, CFS Tax Software, Inc. has developed software for tens of thousands of tax professionals nationwide. Our flagship program, Tax Tools, is the most widely used program of its kind in the tax profession.

• Experience as a tax professional
• Ability to communicate and provide instruction over the phone, often to other tax professionals
• Availability to work in person in our Simi Valley office

• EA/CPA designation or experience with payroll processing
• Familiarity with our software is a plus, but not required as training is provided.
• Full‑time availability in January, our busiest month
• Flexible schedule tailored around your existing tax practice
• Vacation, holidays, medical, dental, generous 401(k) plan (some benefits may not be available for part‑time employees)
• Part‑time or full‑time available. We are happy to try to tailor your work schedule to your existing tax practice, although there is a strong preference for availability during our busy season in December‑January.
