Become a Key Player as a Test TechnicianYou will ensure electro and electromechanical assemblies meet specifications and are delivered on time, supporting production and engineering stakeholders. You will work primarily onsite on a part-time, 2nd shift schedule (Thursday guaranteed; Friday and Saturday as needed) with an initial training period that may require availability Monday–Wednesday. Your work directly affects product quality, throughput, and continuous improvement efforts.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team- Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical testing of small parts and components per written procedures
- Set up and execute tests using oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators, power supplies, and automated test systems
- Troubleshoot circuitry and components using schematic drawings, prints, and test equipment to isolate failures to the micro-component level
- Review shop traveler/route cards and schematics to confirm correct sequence of operation
- Provide detailed written failure descriptions and root cause analysis to production and engineering
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to controlled-environment practices
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience preferred)
- Familiarity with electronic assembly standards, solder quality, and basic rework practices
- Ability to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and automated test systems
- Experience with documentation in a controlled/aerospace environment
- Strong electrical background and ability to test, debug, and troubleshoot analog and digital circuits
- Good reading comprehension, written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications
- ESD control experience
- IPC or soldering/assembly certifications or knowledge
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring schematics, and BOM-related information
$19.39 - $24.24/hour
