Job Description
We are currently seeking a SIOP/Demand Planner to join our team. This position will assist in corporate‑wide SIOP implementation and management of demand planning role will recommend monthly forecast adjustments and assumptions to a cross‑functional SIOP team to achieve a consensus forecast by product line. You will regularly review forecast trends and variances to minimize disruptions to operations and supply chain, identify root causes, and present recommended solutions for approval.
You will facilitate weekly/monthly/quarterly SIOP reviews with key stakeholders and decision‑makers, and be responsible for forecast maintenance in Oracle.

Position Responsibilities- Translate monthly demand into weekly buckets to meet supply/demand patterns and maintain and reconcile a rolling five‑quarter forecast while considering Operations and Supply Chain capacity constraints.
- Work with the Master Scheduler to ensure weekly supply is aligned with customer demand.
- Analyze key customer accounts across business development to highlight trends with associated drivers, risks and opportunities; work closely with Finance; use these insights to minimize forecast error.
- Maintain demand‑planning accuracy metrics and assist in managing SIOP RAILs.
- Maintain forecast data in Oracle, reconcile to actual demand, and support consumption reporting.
- Collaborate with BD and PLM to align product transitions, obsolescence, introductions and changes to minimize financial impact.
- Facilitate and support regular SIOP meetings to ensure successful implementation of SIOP practices at AV.
- Recommend customer‑specific forecasts based on BD and Finance input to support operational execution and the business plan for near‑term deliveries.
- Solve problems that require analysis of data with diverse scope; resolve issues creatively and with minimal supervision while applying company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain or similar roles.
- In‑depth understanding of demand drivers and how to apply appropriate forecasting methods.
- Proficiency in demand‑ and supply‑planning methodology, with awareness of financial and operational impacts.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, root‑cause identification and problem‑solving skills.
- APICS training is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills; able to convey plans, reports and ideas to cross‑functional teams and management.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with a small team structure.

The Salary Range For This Role Is$78,986 – $112,035
