As an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) I, you’ll play a key leadership role in delivering an effortless, member-focused experience while supporting daily branch operations. You’ll lead by example, coach a high-performing service team, and ensure our members feel supported, valued, and understood at every interaction.

- Identify member financial needs and recommend products or services that improve their financial lives
- Resolve complex member concerns with professionalism and care
- Supervise, coach, and review service staff performance
- Conduct staff meetings and provide ongoing training
- Coach employees on cross‑selling goals and NPS standards
- Ensure workstations are properly staffed throughout the day
- Maintain strong controls over cash and negotiable items
- Perform audits and provide notary services as needed
- Help achieve transaction and relationship survey goals
- Forecast cash needs and assist with managing branch cash flow
- Working knowledge of credit union products, services, and regulations
- Strong supervisory, coaching, and leadership skills
- Excellent member service and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid decision-making and problem‑solving abilities
- Proficiency with computers and standard office software (email, internet, Word, Excel)
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience as a Branch Service or Teller Supervisor
- Lending or new accounts experience preferred
- Light physical activity including standing, walking, and sitting
- Manual dexterity for keyboarding and handling documents or cash
- Office setting with moderate noise; well‑lit and climate controlled
- Willingness to travel to branch locations as needed
- Reliable transportation required
- 40‑hour workweek with occasional overtime
- Flexibility to attend meetings before or after scheduled hours
- Minimal overnight travel may be required
