About LTR Contracting

LTR Contracting is a growing construction company specializing in concrete and residential construction throughout Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who already has hands-on construction experience but wants to continue developing their skills and take on more responsibility over time.

You will work alongside our experienced foreman and crew, learning different areas of residential construction while gaining the knowledge and experience needed to eventually take on a lead or foreman role.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous hands-on construction experience
  • Is eager to learn and develop new skills
  • Takes pride in their work
  • Has good common sense and a willingness to figure things out
  • Is able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Takes initiative and doesn't always need to be told what to do
  • Has strong communication skills
  • Is dependable, punctual, and ready to work
  • Is comfortable learning from experienced team members
  • Wants to grow within a company and take on more responsibility

You don't need to know everything.
We're willing to teach the right person. What matters most is your attitude, work ethic, willingness to learn, and desire to grow.

Responsibilities

Depending on experience, responsibilities may include:

  • Loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials
  • Helping with material pickups and deliveries
  • Driving company vehicles when needed
  • Towing trailers when qualified
  • Communicating jobsite conditions, material needs, and potential issues to the foreman
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
  • Helping the team stay on schedule and complete work efficiently
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as skills and experience grow

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

  • Concrete
  • Masonry
  • Residential construction
  • Framing
  • Forming and rebar
  • Grading and excavation
  • Blueprint and construction plan reading
  • Trailer towing
  • Construction equipment operation

Growth Opportunity

At LTR, we're looking for people who want to grow with the company.

The goal for this position is not to keep you in the same role forever. As you learn our processes, develop your skills, and demonstrate that you're ready for more responsibility, there will be opportunities to move into a Lead and eventually Foreman position.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced members of our team and gain experience across different areas of construction.

We're looking for someone who asks questions, pays attention, wants to improve, and takes pride in becoming better at what they do.
