St. Rose of Lima is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced part time middle school teacher for the  school year. St. Rose of Lima, located in Simi Valley, CA, is a community of Kindergarten – 8th grade students, faculty & staff, and parents partnering to help our children grow spiritually, academically, physically, and socially.

We are seeking a candidate who is a dynamic, passionate, educator to join our school community. The ideal candidate would be able to design and implement standards-based lessons, provide students with feedback through formative and summative assessments, communicate with parents, collaborate with fellow teachers, and lead students to the faith through example. In addition, the candidate would be comfortable utilizing and integrating technology into their lessons and understand how technology can supplement and reinforce the core instruction.

We are looking for a qualified & enthusiastic middle school teacher. Subject matter can vary but may be choice of math, ELA, or other subjects depending on qualifications.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Master’s Degree in Education or related field is preferred
• Current teaching credential or in the process of obtaining credential
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is preferred
• Willingness to teach multiple subjects and eagerness to grow professionally

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
