Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Lead the development, design, system integration, and maintenance of embedded hardware platforms for Space Orbital Missions, Lunar Missions, Aerospace, and Defense projects.

Responsibilities

+ Lead teams in product definition, materials selection, architecture, and design review activities.

+ Recommend and implement hardware solutions and improved practices.

+ Develop and maintain micro-controller operated digital and analog electronics using established engineering processes.

+ Interface with customers to determine requirements and guide hardware packaging, board layout, and design tradeoff discussions.

+ Lead PC graphical user interface development/testing, test plans, test results, and test stand equipment design.

+ Coordinate releases, upgrades, documentation, quality assurance activities, and technical accuracy of product materials.

Essential Skills

+ 5-10+ years of recent embedded hardware development experience.

+ Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.

+ Advanced electrical/software engineering concepts.

+ Advanced design, analysis, and testing of micro-controller operated digital and analog electronics.

+ Advanced PSpice simulations.

+ Proficiency in motor control systems.

+

Experience with ORCAD schematics.

+ Knowledge of FPGA and high-speed signal processing.

+ Understanding of DSP, control systems, and digital filters.

+ Release management and document control.

+ Application lifecycle management.

Experience with schematic capture, preferably ORCAD.

+ Knowledge of microprocessors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

Medical PTO 9/80 schedule
