Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the development and maintenance of program financial plans in support of multiple products and business areas. This position works within a team environment comprised of Program Management, Finance, Technical, and other supporting staff.
Responsibilities- Development and maintenance of program financial plans, including budgets and Estimate‑At‑Completes (EACs) to meet contractual/project requirements.
- Compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations.
- Analyzing cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met.
- Preparation of project control/financial analysis reports for distribution to the customer/user organization.
- Development of complex cost and pricing models.
- Support in proposal cost estimates, DCAA audits (pre and post‑award), and contract negotiations.
- Administration of complex financial analyses (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.).
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis, identify trends, and prepare financial reports with recommendations for improvements.
- Liaison between the program office, operations, and other support organizations on financial issues.
- Interface with subcontracts and customers, performing extensive investigations as required.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including reports, tools, and presentation materials.
- Handle complex issues that require an in‑depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and may serve as Team Lead.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in costing and pricing of complex development programs.
- Working knowledge of ERP, SCM, and CRM software/applications.
- Advanced expertise in MS Office Suite (Advanced MS Excel required).
- Ability to work effectively with finance, planners, and support staff to achieve results.
- Cradle‑to‑Grave financial management experience managing a program from proposal through delivery and payment.
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense environment.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Knowledge of Cobra and MS Project.
- Experience using Oracle EBS.
- Experience in utilizing Earned Value Management metrics and reporting.
- Knowledge of Government Cost Accounting principles and FAR.

Work in an office environment (constant). Required to sit and stand for long periods; frequently talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.

Salary Range$111,000 - $169,250.
ITAR RequirementThis position requires access to information subject to compliance with the International Traffic on Armaments Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and EAR, or be approved for an export license by the governing agency. Certain positions may require current U.S. citizenship due to contract requirements.
