Division Supplier Development Manager

Parker Meggitt, a recent addition to Parker Hannifin, is a global leader in the Commercial and Military Aerospace markets, specializing in fire and smoke detection systems, extinguishing systems, bleed air overheat detection systems, actuators, rudder pedal assemblies, pumps, fuel gauging systems, high‑temperature cables, and nuclear gas analyzers.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the division supply chain team to reduce chronic shortages and systematic issues within the supply base.
  • Lead cross‑functional high‑performance teams to create work transfer velocity and reduce chronic shortages.
  • Provide oversight and leadership to division/contract field resources in support of cross‑functional HPT objectives.
  • Represent the division and collaborate with peers at other divisions and the group.
  • Proactively work with the Division Supply Chain Team to seek continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership by engaging suppliers and peers to achieve common goals.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time.
  • Collaborate with the business unit or division to establish preferred supplier selection criteria based on evaluations of price, quality, delivery, certifications, and compliance with governmental procurement regulations.
  • Work with suppliers to develop and manage continuous improvement programs addressing quality, delivery, service, and price.
  • Develop and benchmark best practices among division suppliers and maintain accurate measurements and records for supplier evaluation.
  • Travel requirement: 20% annually.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Completed bachelor’s degree (4‑year) in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree such as an MBA preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 4 years of increasing leadership responsibility within manufacturing operations requiring advanced project planning, supplier oversight, and team organizational skills. Experience working with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing disciplines is a plus.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Demonstrated teamwork and team‑building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives.
    • Capability to assess and develop individual and team skills and capabilities.
    • Courage to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals.
    • Proposition as a role model by promoting new ideas and positive change.
    • Thorough understanding of production technology and related business and regulatory environments.
Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule
  • Pay Range: $113,680 to $199,055 annually.
  • Participation in the Annual Incentive Program.
