The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsibility for the development and deployment of the tools, methods and processes that make-up the Parker Lean system (PLS). Ability to lead and facilitate lean kaizen events to drive business performance improvement. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinates and allocates the daily continuous improvement activities to meet company objectives
  • Application of Lean Methodologies to improve production and manufacturing processes
  • Utilizes the team’s knowledge to drive improvements and best practices
  • Recommends solutions to complex problems and implements corrective actions
  • Manages training and skills enhancement for all employees with respect to continuous improvement tools and techniques
Education and Experience
  • Education requirement: Required, bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or technical degree.
  • Year of experience: 3-5 years or more of relevant experience
  • Certification preferred:
    Kaizen and/or Lean methodologies
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems (i.e., SAP)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports
  • Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices, procedures and standards policy and procedure development techniques
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to federal and state tax codes

    Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California, Massachusetts, New York, Washington. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations.

Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $83,250 to 138,550
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
