Insulation Technician

$20 - $30 per hour | Simi Valley, CA | On-Site | Consulting

A premier developer and producer of advanced aircraft ducting, high‑temp sealing connectors, flexible joint systems, ozone conversion units, and intricate assemblies for both commercial and defense sectors.

• Must be able to lay‑up all skins on form tools with minimal supervision
• Must read and interpret blueprint and process specifications
• Recognize differences among insulation materials and fabric coverings
• Build, vacuum bag, cure, using air circulator ovens or autoclave
• Cut material as required for fabrication
• Read Vernier dial calipers, micrometers, tape measure, weight scales, pie tapes, and other measuring equipment as required
• Be able to use cements, coatings, release agents, sealants, and plastic laminators
• Be able to insulate a variety of ducts with minimal supervision
• Maintain satisfactory levels of production – both quality and quantity
• Perform other duties as assigned
