Production Assembler ; Temp Conversion

Position Summary

The Production Assembler 2 performs a variety of routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations under moderate guidance and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations according to company instructions and procedures.
• Conduct inspections of own and/or associates’ work to ensure correctness according to company and customer drawings.
• Apply process specifications governing production within an assigned cell, recording production time and quantity data.
• Maintain work area under company guidelines and participate in events as required.
• Provide simple welding, brazing, soldering tasks and operate light machinery such as sandblasters, electro-etching processing, and presses.
• Actively demonstrate all safety policies and procedures.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance; may need to work nights, weekends, variable schedules and overtime as necessary.

• Skilled at routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations.
• Able to operate a variety of hand tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret company documents such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures.
• Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts.
• Capable of recognizing and solving typical problems in own work area; evaluates and selects solutions from established options.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training, apprenticeships or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. export compliance and U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.

• Pay range: $18.9/hr to $31.5/hr.
