Position Summary
The Production Assembler 2 performs a variety of routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations under moderate guidance and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations according to company instructions and procedures.
- Conduct inspections of own and/or associates’ work to ensure correctness according to company and customer drawings.
- Apply process specifications governing production within an assigned cell, recording production time and quantity data.
- Maintain work area under company guidelines and participate in events as required.
- Provide simple welding, brazing, soldering tasks and operate light machinery such as sandblasters, electro-etching processing, and presses.
- Actively demonstrate all safety policies and procedures.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance; may need to work nights, weekends, variable schedules and overtime as necessary.
- Skilled at routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations.
- Able to operate a variety of hand tools and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret company documents such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures.
- Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts.
- Capable of recognizing and solving typical problems in own work area; evaluates and selects solutions from established options.
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training, apprenticeships or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of U.S. export compliance and U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
- Pay range: $18.9/hr to $31.5/hr.
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
