Become a Key Player as a Test TechnicianYou will perform precise electro and electromechanical testing to ensure components meet specifications and support on-time delivery. You will impact production and engineering by providing accurate diagnostics and root-cause failure analysis. This is an onsite role on 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 5:00AM–1:30PM).
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team- Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical testing of small parts or components per instructions and procedures
- Review shop traveler route cards and schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation
- Test circuitry and component effectiveness in amplifiers and electronic equipment
- Receive parts/units and troubleshoot circuits and components using schematics and prints
- Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network/spectrum analyzers, frequency counters) to set up and run tests per specification
- Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry to the micro component level
- Provide detailed written failure descriptions and root cause analysis to production and engineering
- Follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to company guidelines, policies, and safety rules
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and consistent, punctual attendance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
- 1–2 years (or more) of relevant testing/troubleshooting experience
- Strong electrical background with understanding of microelectronics
- Proven ability to test, debug, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
- Experience reading and interpreting schematic drawings and technical instructions
- Good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications
- Computer skills
- Self-starter attitude
- Hands-on experience with manual tools
$19.39 - $24.24/hour
