Shipping Coordinator 1

JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinates the movement and control of material through the shipment department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Pulls customer orders and prepares them for shipment.

Loads and unloads trucks.

Processes small packages (UPS/FEDEX).

Keys or scans shipping transactions into the manufacturing system.

Copies and distributes paperwork, as needed.

Maintains records and files paperwork in accordance with established procedures.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

May manually handle, repack, or repalletize materials.

Must operate a forklift truck, pallet jack, parts counting scales, stretch wrapper, and other material handling devices.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Technical

Competencies:

Basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
Minimum of three (3) months relevant work experience.
Forklift experience.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping and crouching.
Gross and manual dexterity.
Motor coordination skills
Lift up to 40 lbs.

Pay range $20.00 - $21.00/hour DOE
