Emergency Room Nurse
Provides comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room environment, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes. Supervises and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver immediate and effective care to acute patients in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions rapidly upon arrival and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans to ensure optimal recovery.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
- Delegate nursing tasks appropriately while ensuring patient safety and compliance with policies.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum two years of recent experience in emergency or acute care nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. - Proficient in crisis management techniques such as TEAM, CPI, or similar.
- Strong critical thinking, rapid assessment, and decision-making skills.
