Division Quality Leader

The Division Quality Leader provides leadership and management for the quality function and sustains the quality philosophy and lean culture for the division. The DQM establishes, maintains, and optimizes an effective quality management system. The role creates and implements a quality plan to achieve the levels of quality established through organizational goals, customer expectations, related stakeholders, and market competition. It enhances and improves the division’s products and services through the implementation of ISO 9001, problem‑solving tools, prevention methods, quality‑at‑the‑source, and continual improvement techniques, serving as the Management Representative for Quality Systems.

Functions
  • Communicates customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversees documentation and implementation of the quality management system to assure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and corporate/division policies.
  • Works with division leadership to ensure that individuals performing functions affecting quality are trained and demonstrate the appropriate skills.
  • Coordinates necessary division personnel for internal, customer, and third‑party quality system audits.
  • Maintains a corrective action system to analyze and correct nonconforming conditions and complaints.
  • Implements performance measurements to evaluate organizational performance and trends in product quality, services, customer satisfaction, and cost of poor quality.
  • Uses performance evaluation results to target improvement efforts.
  • Collaborates with Purchasing on the development and implementation of a supplier management strategy.
  • Assesses supplier capabilities and monitors supplier quality to ensure desired performance levels.
  • Collaborates with Engineering on new product development and design review for quality/reliability issues.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5–7 years of quality, engineering, or related experience.
  • Knowledge:
    Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (ISO/TS 16949 for automotive sector, if applicable).
  • Certifications (preferred): ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Certified Quality Manager (CQM).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and quality technologies.
  • Experience with quality improvement tools and techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA).
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, facilitation, and problem‑solving skills.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $156,900 to $274,550 annually
  • Participation in Annual and Long‑Term Incentive Programs
