Work Arrangement: Onsite

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extension)

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hr. on W2 (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Skills Required Primary (Must-Have)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience as a certified NDT Technician.
  • Minimum 1,200 logged Penetrant Testing (PT) hours (Level II) in accordance with NAS

  • Hands‑on experience performing Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) at Level I or Level II.
  • Experience processing parts through the complete penetrant inspection cycle.
  • Ability to interpret and complete process controls required for penetrant inspection, including lighting, temperature, and system performance evaluations.
  • Knowledge of the scope and limitations of the Liquid Penetrant Testing method.
  • Experience performing inspections in accordance with industry standards.
  • Ability to review and write inspection procedures.
  • Experience preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as required.
Secondary (Good to Have)
  • X-Ray (RT) Level I or Level II certification or experience.
  • Experience working in a Nadcap Accredited environment.
  • Aerospace, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Experience with welding, machining, heat treating, and assembly processes.
  • Vocational training or apprenticeship in Non-Destructive Testing or related field.
Position Overview

The NDT Technician is responsible for performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) methods to detect flaws, discontinuities, leaks, contamination, and other defects in aerospace components without affecting the integrity of the inspected materials.

This position supports inspection activities, equipment maintenance, audit preparation, and quality assurance processes. Candidates with strong PT experience will receive training in X-Ray (RT) inspection methods.

Non-Destructive Testing
  • Perform Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) inspections on aerospace materials, components, and assemblies.
  • Detect flaws, cracks, leaks, discontinuities, and other defects without damaging the inspected parts.
  • Process components through the complete penetrant inspection cycle.
  • Conduct inspections in accordance with industry standards and established procedures.
  • Accurately record and document inspection results.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
  • Set up, maintain, adjust, repair, and assemble NDT equipment.
  • Perform routine equipment modifications as directed by engineering teams.
  • Verify process controls including lighting, temperature, and system performance before inspections.
Quality & Compliance
  • Review and develop inspection procedures and work instructions.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external quality audits.
  • Participate in customer and regulatory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and aerospace inspection requirements.
Operational Support
  • Complete assigned work according to engineering instructions, specifications, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
  • Work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends, as business needs require.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience performing Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) at Level I or Level II.

Preferred Qualifications
  • X-Ray (RT) Level I or Level II certification or experience.
  • Experience working in a Nadcap Accredited facility.
